A/C Service Points
1. Check the blower and blower assembly.
2. Check the refrigerant level. (Refrigerant quoted by Tech)
3. Check the refrigerant lines for visible Refrigerant leaks.
4. Check the water drain lines.
5. Check for the proper temperature drop.
6. Check the unit for proper installation.
7. Check the thermostat.
8. Check all the visible electrical wiring.
9. Check the capacitors.
10. Check the condenser coils.
11. Check the contactors.
12. Check the compressor amperage.
13. Check the starting capabilities of the unit.
14. Check the condenser fan motor.
15. Check the outside disconnect box.
16. Check the booster or hard start kit.
17. Check the filters.
18. Check unit for proper air filtering, and advise customer on ways to improve
air quality.
All customers must provide disposable filters – permanent filters will be washed clean.
Heating
Service Points
1. Check the pilot & assembly for visible leaks.
2. Check the heat exchanger for cracks.
3. Check the air & gas mixture.
4. Check the height of the flame.
5. Check the fan speed.
6. Check the burners.
7. Check the blower assembly for balance and any build up.
8. Check the visible safety controls.
9. Check the vent pipe for cracks.
10. Check the temperature rise.
11. Check the thermostat for proper calibration.
12. Check the airflow from the vents.
13. Check the combustion air vents.
14. Check the amperage draw of the blower motor.
15. Check the fan limit switch.
16. Check plenum.
17. Check for gas leaks.
18. Check unit’s ignition.
19. Check gas valve operation.
20. Check vent pipe.
21. Check for presence of Carbon Monoxide.
22. Check inducer draft motor.
23. Check the filters.
24. Check unit for proper air filtering, and advise customer on ways to improve
air quality.
25. Check the staging of the elements. (On electric heat)
26. Check the defrost cycle. (On Heat pump)
